A note from Lil Trif's mom...

Hooray! Bobby set up the account so that I can write too!

This pregnancy has been an exciting one... with lots of anticipation. The morning sickness is gone. I SO looked forward to that. Then, I was anxious to feel Lil Trif moving around in there. I started to feel little "pangs" at about 13 weeks. Now, at 19 weeks, the feelings are becoming more regular and frequent. I am now anxious for Bobby to feel them too.
Everyone asks me what it feels like. Its not so much a "kick" per se, but more like a gentle tapping, and sometimes it just feels like pressure. Sometimes I imagine him/her swimming around in there. Imagine a fish swimming in your belly... thats a good equation.

Lil Trif is measuring almost 6 inches long - crown to rump (not including his legs) and weighs about 7-8 ounces.

Changes are starting to take place for me (as if they havent before) My belly button is starting to protrude... its kinda cool, I guess. I am feeling more and more FAT than anything. This is such a hard thing for me to overcome. I am anxious to start running again after Lil Trif arrives.

I may be returning to work full time after all once summer comes. I may be offered a full time position as the Assistant to my Director. This means big things for me, and I am quite thrilled about it. I am trying not to get my hopes up... part of me wishes I could just stay home and be a mom. Financially, its not possible right now. Part time would be ideal, but this new position is a full time one.

Our next ultrasound is on November 02. Bobby will be videotaping again. I am so excited to see how he/she's grown. We will not be finding out the sex of the baby. Life has too few surprises. This will be a true surprise for me... well, for us!

I am anxious to get the nursery complete. I have a decor all set and we just need to get painting! We will be installing hard wood floors in the room, as well as white paneling on the bottom half of the walls. The top half will be painted a pale pale yellow (almost white) We will also be installing white shutters on the bottom half of the windows. I am very excited about this project.

Perhaps I will post pictures as we go...
