Alex's ears

Alex experienced yet another ear infection while we were away. Luckily, we were only an hour from home and we were able to take him to Dr. Novak. We finally discussed the possibility of tubes in his ears. I made an appt with the Ear Nose and Throat specialist for mid-July. He is the same ENT who completed Ava's tongue surgery (snipped her frenulum) last year.
Another topic we discussed is the possibility of Alex having a consistently low white blood cell count - hence his tendency to pick up illnesses. Dr. Novak would like him to have a blood test done when he is healthy. He said that while it is possible, it is not likely. The blood test will rule that out. I will take him next week, once he is finished with his current antibiotic.
